Danielle's Goals
There are 14 8,000 meter peaks in the world, all located in the Himalayas. Danielle has an interest in climbing at least 11 of these over the coming years (her father – Jerome – has asked that she not climb the 3 most dangerous ones, Annapurna, Nanga Parbat, and K2)

Danielle’s goal is to climb one or two 8,000 meter peaks a year.

Danielle left August 26th, 2007 for Tibet. She will attempt to climb Cho Oyu, the 6th highest mountain in the world at 8,201 metres (26,906 feet) and Shishapangma, the 14th highest at 8,013 metres (26,289 feet) ). The climb on Shishapangma will be without oxygen.

When Danielle is not climbing or attending school, she is raising awareness for ADHD.
